The Barge People is one of the most beautiful movies of year 2018. I was very inspired after I saw it for the first time. I've many movie productions in my mind that I call favorite but best movie mean to me having both a certain style, which symbolizes the point of a movie to tell a story via motion pictures of a being's existential turning point, it engrosses you in imagination and its overall effect is that either it leave you changed, inspired or left some impact on you. The Barge People is definitely the type of movie that you can watch several times and always see something new, interesting. It's taken me multiple rewatches and a lot of hours on the wikipedia so I finally understood everything. And everything could not be so beautiful without a director, a true cinematic genius.
